Super Bowl 56 Betting Odds

The Super Bowl futures favorites flip flopped again this week following another upset loss by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Buccaneers were Super Bowl favorites last week but their upset loss to Washington cost them that spot. Tampa Bay will now have to settle for second best on the Super Bowl futures at +600, down from +550 last week.

Bills favored again

Taking back top spot were the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo delivered a strong performance last week in a win over the Jets which propelled them back up to +550 where they sat two weeks ago. In between their times as favorite Buffalo spent one week at +600.

Like the Buccaneers, the Los Angeles Rams were also upset last week after getting lit up by San Francisco on Monday night. The Rams saw a slight decline on the Super Bowl futures, falling from +750 to their current spot at +800. Los Angeles has their bye this week which could give them a chance to get Odell Beckham up to speed after he was used sparingly on Monday night.

Rounding out the Top 5 on the Super Bowl futures are the Green Bay Packers at +850 and the Arizona Cardinals at +950.

The Packers began moving back up the futures following the return of Aaron Rodger last week. If you want an idea of how good Green Bay really is, you may find out in two weeks when they play the Rams at home.

Arizona dropped down the Super Bowl futures after getting roughed up by Carolina last week. The Cardinals are now listed at +950, down from +850 last week. One important thing to remember about Arizona is that last week’s loss came without quarterback Kyler Murray and leading wide receiver De’Andre Hopkins. Once their stars return the Cardinals odds could improve, so if they’re your Super Bowl pick now is the time to bet.

If you’re looking for the team that made the largest gains on the Super Bowl futures this week it’s the New England Patriots. After winning four straight, including last week’s rout of Cleveland, the Patriots have moved up to +2700 on the futures. A week ago they were down at +4000. The Patriots have a few big tests coming up. They include Tennessee and a pair against Buffalo which should give bettors an idea on if this recent winning streak is for real, or a flash in the pan this season.

After an upset filled Week 9 during which the Bills, Rams, Packers and Cowboys all lost, some changes on the Super Bowl futures odds were expected.

Change started at the top where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are now the Super Bowl favorites again at +550 despite not even playing last week. Considering what happened to so many contenders last week that was probably a good thing.

The former Super Bow favorite Buffalo Bills dropped down to +600 following their shocking loss to Jacksonville. The Bills were at +500 last week and look to have a good shot at a rebound this week against the Jets, but nothing can be taken for granted anymore.

Also seeing modest drops on the Super Bowl futures this week following losses were the Rams, Packer and Cowboys.

The Rams couldn’t get it done against Tennessee last week and it caused them to fall to +750 on the odds list. Last week they were listed at +600.

The Packers, without Aaron Rodgers put up a solid effort in a loss to the Chiefs last week. Thanks to that loss and the mess that is the Rodgers situation the Packers went from +950 last to their current standings at +1100.

The Cowboys were big favorites last week at home to Denver with Dak Prescott returning from injury. The offense was non-existent in a loss and it cost Dallas on the futures, as they went from +950 a week ago to +1200 this week.

Looking at gainers on the Super Bowl futures the standouts this week are the Arizona Cardinals and the Tennessee Titans.

Last week Arizona was missing starting quarterback Kyler Murray and No. 1 receiver De’Andre Hopkins but they still rolled over San Francisco. That gave them a boost up to +850 on the futures from +1100 last week.

Tennessee just simply keeps beating contenders. Last week they added the Rams to the list that already included Buffalo and Kansas City. The win, which was even more surprising since it came without Derrick Henry, moved the Titans up to +1200 on the Super Bowl futures. A week earlier they sat at +2200.

We’ve got a new Super Bowl favorite. Following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ upset loss to the New Orleans Saints last week, there’s been a change atop the Super Bowl futures odds.

Last week the Buccaneers were +500 favorites but their loss to the Saints bumped them down one notch to second on the list at +600. Taking Tampa Bay’s place are the Buffalo Bills, who move up to +500, up from +550 last week at FanDuel Sportsbook, after taking care of the Miami Dolphins last week.

The Bills and Bucs meet up in Tampa Bay in Week 14 in a game that could very well end up being a Super Bow preview.

The Bills weren’t the only team to move up the Super Bowl odds list this week. The Los Angeles Rams moved up to the third spot with +650 odds. They were listed at +950 a week ago. Los Angeles took it to the Houston Texans last week and made some noise at the trade deadline by grabbing veteran linebacker Von Miller.

The Rams have already beaten Tampa Bay this season and get to prove themselves against other Super Bowls contenders later this season with games against Green Bay, Arizona and Baltimore coming up.

Following the Rams on the Super Bowl odds are the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers, both at +950. The Cowboys were at +1200 last week and the Packers were at +1100.

Dallas posted a big statement win last week by getting past Minnesota without starting quarterback Dak Prescott. Dallas is running away with the NFC East and could have a smooth road to the playoffs with only three of their remaining 10 games coming against teams with winning records.

Green Bay has won seven straight since starting the season with a loss. Last week’s win against the then undefeated Arizona Cardinals without leading receive Davante Adams was big for Green Bay. If they can keep it up against the struggling Kansas City Chiefs this week their rise up the Super Bowl futures will continue.

The defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the current favorites to bring home another Lombardi Trophy at FanDuel Sportsbook. However, they’re not overwhelming favorites with the Buffalo Bills right behind them on the Super Bowl futures.

The Bucs are +500 on the Super Bowl futures while the Bills are listed at +550. After throttling Chicago 38-3 last week Tampa Bay is 6-1 on the season and have won four straight. They’re next five opponents have a combined record of 14-19 so expect the winning to continue and the Bucs Super Bowls odds to keep improving.

Super Bowl 56 Betting Odds

The Bills are coming off their bye week and had a bit of a hiccup in their last game when they fell to Tennessee 34-31. If you thought the Bucs upcoming schedule was easy the Bills have a cakewalk with Miami, Jacksonville and the New York Jets coming up. The combined record of those three is 3-16. The game to watch out for is in Week 14 when the Bills and Buccaneers square off in Tampa Bay.

The biggest loser right now on the Super Bowl odds are the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs began the season right behind the Buccaneers on the odds list, but have since tumbled to +1300 after losing three of their last five games. The Chiefs are shockingly tied for last place in the AFC West. If you think the Chiefs can turn things around and regain their Super Bowl contender from now may be the best time to make a Super Bowl futures bet.

If you’re looking for a dark horse bet the best option right now may be Tennessee. The Titans have had an odd season when you consider they’ve lost to the Jets but have also beaten the Bills and Chiefs. In the weak AFC South the Titans should easily make the playoffs where they’ll likely get another shot at the Bills and possibly the Chiefs. If the result is the same Tennessee could be a legit Super Bowl contender.
